Terms of Use
LAST UPDATED OCTOBER 10, 2026
These are the terms for using Bib, the training dashboard at fitr.us and in the Bib apps, made by FITR (“we”, “us”). By signing in you agree to them. If you don’t, please don’t use Bib. Questions go to info@fitr.us.
What Bib is
Bib reads the training data you already record, computes a small set of numbers from it, and coaches you from them: a training plan for your race that it adjusts with you, an assessment after a run, a brief in the morning, a word on where the season stands each week, and answers when you ask the coach. A change to your plan is applied only when you choose it. It is a private beta, offered by invitation, and it changes often.
The coach is software
Every word Bib writes — the plan, the assessment, the brief, the Standing, and the answers under “Ask the coach” — is generated by software from your numbers. The coach is not a person, not a certified running coach, and not a medical professional. Nothing Bib says is medical advice, and nothing it says replaces a physician, a physical therapist or a coach who knows you. Training for a marathon carries real risks. See a doctor before you start or change a training program, stop and seek care if something hurts or feels wrong, and treat everything Bib tells you to do as a suggestion you are free to ignore. You are responsible for your own training and your own health.
Your account
- You must be 18 or older.
- Keep your sign-in methods to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- One athlete per account. Connect only training accounts that are yours.
Your data
Your training data is yours. You give us permission to read it from the services you connect, store it, compute with it, send the relevant parts to the AI models that write your coaching reads, and keep the prompts and replies as examples that improve the model we run ourselves. How we handle it is in the Privacy Policy. You can disconnect a service or delete your account at any time.
Feedback you send — a rating on a coaching read, reasons, words, a note from Settings — is read by the Bib team and may be used to improve the coaching. Please leave out anything you would not want a person to read.
What we ask
- Don’t try to break into other people’s accounts or data, probe the service, or load it with automated traffic.
- Don’t resell Bib or pass your access to others.
- Don’t use Bib for anything unlawful.
No warranty
Bib is provided as it is, and as it is available. It is a beta: numbers can be wrong, the coach can be wrong, and the service can be down. We make no promise that it is accurate, complete, fit for any purpose, or uninterrupted, and we disclaim every warranty the law lets us disclaim.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, FITR is not liable for any injury, loss or damage that comes from using Bib or relying on anything it says, including indirect, incidental or consequential loss. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, which during the beta is nothing.
Ending things
You can stop using Bib and delete your account whenever you like. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we can change or end the beta; if we end it we will tell you and give you time to take your data.
Changes to these terms
When these terms change in a way that matters, we will say so on this page and by email before the change takes effect. Using Bib after that means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and any dispute belongs to the courts of Contra Costa County, California.
